Top litigation support & trial services company seeks dynamic, high-integrity individuals who are adaptable and team players. Qualified candidates will enjoy the challenge of employing a consultative sales approach within a customer service environment. The position will focus on actively and successfully pursuing new clients and growing existing book of business by incorporating cross-selling techniques and regular account management.

The account executive will also be responsible for client relationship maintenance at key accounts within the prescribed account development cycle. This role will be a part of the sales & marketing team and will interact with local sales representatives and VP & director of business development within each territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to effectively build and maintain solid relationships with legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, and law firm administrators.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and report back to management on accounts being visited and additional areas of opportunity.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Offer and conduct attorney continuing legal education courses.
  • Identify viable client prospects from various sources including: directories, contact lists, databases, leads, internet resources, and personal networking.
  • Maintain all account and client detail information accurately in our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) including strong account management habits, opportunity identification and forecasting.
  • Recognize and expand market conditions and target sales to discovery phase of litigation.
  • Attend industry-related functions to explore networking opportunities and gain enhanced product knowledge.
  • Maintain a high-level confidentiality with regards to all internal and external matters required, and other material as required.
Required:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience of proven outside sales success in business-to-business service industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications marketing, business administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience marketing variety of legal solutions and products to different audiences.
  • Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the litigation support industry, litigation support processes, litigation support solutions and systems, and industry trends.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.

We are seeking Stenographic Court Reporters – classified as a self-employed, independent contractor, having the ability to accept or decline work. This position will require you to execute an Independent Contractor Agreement which includes guidelines on insurance requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • State Licensed and/or certified where applicable
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willing to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to start time
  • Verbatim reporting of legal proceedings
  • Ability to ask speakers to clarify or repeat if necessary
  • Capable of reading back from steno
  • Prepare transcripts timely and according to standardized formats
  • Proficient with your CAT software
  • Maintain accurate and legible records
  • Maintain court reporting equipment
  • Daily communication with office
  • Knowledgeable with State and Federal Rules
