  • Identify viable client prospects from various sources including: directories, contact lists, databases, leads, internet resources, and personal networking.
  • Maintain all account and client detail information accurately in our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) including strong account management habits, opportunity identification and forecasting.
  • Recognize and expand market conditions and target sales to discovery phase of litigation.
  • Attend industry-related functions to explore networking opportunities and gain enhanced product knowledge.
  • Maintain a high-level confidentiality with regards to all internal and external matters required, and other material as required.
Required:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience of proven outside sales success in business-to-business service industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications marketing, business administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience marketing variety of legal solutions and products to different audiences.
  • Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the litigation support industry, litigation support processes, litigation support solutions and systems, and industry trends.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.

Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates. Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management. Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.

Requirement & Skills:  Minimum of 2 years in corporate collections experience including interaction with a large customer base. You must be customer service oriented, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to follow through and resolve issues in a pleasant and supportive manner.  You need to be: detail oriented, have strong writing and grammatical skills, a self-starter who is proactive, highly motivated, organized, and able to multi task. You must have experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word; experience with ReporterBase is preferred but not required. 

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Extensive hours staring at a computer screen and typing

This position will require you to execute an Independent Contractor Agreement which includes guidelines on insurance requirements and quality standards.

Job Title: Production Associate
Status:  Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Long Beach, CA
Salary:  Depends upon experience/qualifications

Description:

This position is responsible for processing transcripts for clients as well as all other aspects of litigation services, including communicating with law firms and working/cross training closely with several of our other departments in an effort to maintain outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Process all incoming jobs (complete SOP will be provided)
Quality control of deposition transcripts
Work with various software programs to create electronic files and CD/DVD creation
Database entry & archiving
Scanning/OCR conversions
Process phone orders
Daily email notifications to clients
Daily interaction with court reporters
Answer calls/emails relating to production inquires
Operate large-volume copiers
Copying, printing, binding & shipping
Maintain supplies in work area
Keep area clean & organized
Troubleshooting
Update department SOP when needed

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years in an office environment including interaction with a large customer base
Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required
Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Experience with ReporterBase is preferred but not required
Excellent spelling and writing skills required
Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
