Summary Job Description:

This position is responsible for processing transcripts for clients as well as all other aspects of litigation services, including communicating with law firms and working/cross training closely with several of our other departments in an effort to maintain outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming jobs (complete SOP will be provided)
  • Quality control of deposition transcripts
  • Work with various software programs to create electronic files and CD/DVD creation
  • Database entry & archiving
  • Scanning/OCR conversions
  • Process phone orders
  • Daily email notifications to clients
  • Daily interaction with court reporters
  • Answer calls/emails relating to production inquires
  • Operate large-volume copiers
  • Copying, printing, binding & shipping
  • Maintain supplies in work area
  • Keep area clean & organized
  • Troubleshooting
  • Update department SOP when needed

  • Experience and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years of office environment experience including interaction with a large customer base
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Access
  • Training or experience in computer applications
  • Experience with ReporterBase is preferred but not required
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • Excellent phone skills is required
  • Excellent spelling and writing skills required
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
  • Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing
  • critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency

    Summary Job Description:

    This position requires a strong background in customer service and professional relationship building, as well as an extremely high level of attention to detail. The position entails scheduling nationwide legal proceedings for clients who contact our company for specified services. The Calendar Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the attendance of specified independent contractors nationwide to provide the requested services for each legal proceeding. Additional responsibilities will include a complete understanding of our online portal as well as mobile conferencing as to be able to setup, assist and support clients and resources.


    Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls from court reporters and clients.
  • Receive and respond to incoming notifications of jobs via various means.
  • Enter deposition information flawlessly into our custom scheduling system.
  • Coordinate/schedule legal services, including but not limited to court reporting, videography, and interpreters.
  • Out-of-area vendors – locate, qualify pay rate, turnaround, format, etc.
  • Book videoconference sites and/or conference rooms with venues nationwide.
  • Track resource workflow and workload.
  • Notify all departments as to incoming roughs and/or expedites.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and/or job notes to avoid production delays.
  • Notify/inform all departments about visitors coming to our office.
  • Track trends within the office and with client scheduling tendencies.
  • Learn, understand and follow calendar SOP.
  • Update calendar SOP when necessary due to changes and/or updates.
  • Calendar check list to be reviewed and completed each day.
  • Manage and maintain special assigned accounts.
  • Other projects as assigned.

  • Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of direct customer-service experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve a variety of problems independently.
  • Impeccable organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.

    We are seeking Stenographic Court Reporters – classified as a self-employed, independent contractor, having the ability to accept or decline work. This position will require you to execute an Independent Contractor Agreement which includes guidelines on insurance requirements and quality standards.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

  • State Licensed and/or certified where applicable
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willing to arrive 15 minutes prior to start time
  • Verbatim reporting of legal proceedings
  • Ability to ask speakers to clarify or repeat if necessary
  • Capable of reading back from notes
